Having three (now older) kids ourselves we remember all to well rummaging about under their pillows trying to find a tiny tooth, which carried a high risk of waking them up. Then with them tossing and turning all night the money the tooth fairy left for them was no doubt under the bed, lost forever amongst the sea of toys they very carefully "placed" under there when you tell them to tidy up.
Well I only wish we'd seen this all they years ago, why not change the "under the pillow" habit and hang it round the door handle instead, win win for Mummy's and Daddy's everywhere.
Plenty of space for a few coins, easy to fish out the tooth and can be used again and again.
